To Bill (invoice) for a service 

  1. Click on Account in the toolbar, select the patient or organisation 
  2. Select the Point of Sale Tab

Create an invoice

  1. Check the Patient 
  2. Check the Date
  3. Check the Practitioner and Payable company
  • Click on the Service from the service items list (which shows this practitioners favorite items)
  • Repeat selection for multiple services
  • Click on Other Services (F10) for more services if needed
  • Provide further information when prompted
An invoice line item should appear in Todays Invoice Items list.
If this is NOT payable by the patient’s usual account holder, it will be coloured grey.

Immediate Payment

Payment by EFTPOS

  • Enter the amount paid into the EFTPOS box and press [Enter]

Payment by Cash

  • Collect the payment and enter the amount paid into the Cash box and press [Enter]

Payment by Cheque

  • Enter the amount paid into the Cheque box, the Bank. branch and  drawer (account name) into the appropriate boxes and press [Enter]

Payment by Credit Card

  • Collect the payment and enter the amount paid into the Credit box, select the card type from the dropdown list and press Enter

Payment by Direct debit or internet payment 

  • Enter the amount paid into the Direct box and press Enter

Payment by Cash

  • Collect the payment and enter the amount paid into the Cash box and press Enter

Repeat the above for payments by more than one method

The payments should appear in the Payments list.

Payments will be allocated to the old outstanding invoice

Invoices and Receipts

Print Invoice

  1. Click on the Invoice
  2. Click on Print Invoice (ALT+I) in Invoice actions

Email Invoice

  1. Click on the Invoice
  2. Click on View/Email Invoice (ALT+E) in invoice actions. (This option will be Green if an email address is present for the account holder)
  3. Click on the Email button
  4. Confirm or enter the email address when prompted

Print Receipt

  1. Click on the payment
  2. Click on Print Receipt (Alt+R) in payment actions

Email Receipt

  1. Click on the payment
  2. Click on View/Email Receipt in payment actions. (This option will be Green if an email address is present for the account holder)
  3. Click on the Email button
  4. Confirm or enter the email address when prompted

Invoice History

  • The History list will display all invoices created for the selected patient.
  • Red items have an outstanding balance

Print 12 months report for WINZ 

  1. Click on Print 12 Month Report in the invoice actions
  2. Check the preview and click on Pint (or Email)
