You can choose to list a drug as regular so that it can be prescribed again quickly.
Regular drugs will show up on the patient’s medication list (see Repeat Prescriptions).
or Press [Repeat all] to prescribe all drugs in the Regular list
A special task can be set to remind everyone when a patient should make an appointment to see the practitioner for a review before being issued with further repeat prescriptions
This can be set while reviewing correspondence or results in the Mail Screen
This task can be set any where the New Task option is available (select from the task batches list on the left)
The interval between reviews can be determined by setting a recurrence on the task
Each time a clinical note is written , a prompt will allow the practitioner to reset the task .
The program will add a note to the actions list documenting that the drug was removed from the regular drug list and the reason.
– Drugs not yet classified are displayed with a yellow background colour. Select a Generic Pharmaceutical Drug Group for use with interactions and disease management forms.
If there is no ULM (Universal List of Medicines) code the item will have a green background in the regular drug list. These drugs will not participate in drug interaction checking and reduce e-prescribing safety.
You will be able to search for the correct drug name and code .
If the search list does not contain the correct drug, try entering less text such as just the drug name and try again
Ensure the the correct dose and form are selected
